Since 2013, we have been supporting Circus Starr, a charitable organization that supports disadvantaged, disabled and socially and economically vulnerable children through an unforgettable circus show. By involving them in immersive performances, we give these kids the space to forget, even if just for a few hours, the daily struggles they are forced to face.
In 2023, we supported the Women of Vision project: a non-governmental organization born in Westbury, a suburb of Johannesburg and one of the last townships to be established under the apartheid regime. Driven by a determined group of women, this initiative has now become a landmark for South Africa's most vulnerable communities, particularly women, children, the elderly and victims of abuse, providing them with multiple services from education and psychological support to food and job opportunities.
We contributed by helping with the management of the Westbury school and support service, which offers free education to families in need. Westbury is an area that is plagued by crime and social unrest, and our donation, which came at a particularly tumultuous time, helped cover monthly costs for teachers, materials, playground maintenance and food.
Our office in Spain cooperates with two specialist employment centers, providing job opportunities for people with disabilities. We notably have a long-standing relationship with Trabajos Solidarios for the supply of office supplies and personal protective equipment, and we rely on OPTEAM to manage all employee travel and relocation aspects. Both of these collaborations are a testament to our ongoing commitment to promoting social inclusion and supporting local communities.
Since 2021, we have been supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters' signature fundraiser, “Bowl for Kids' Sake”: a fun and easy way for individuals and businesses to leave a positive impact on the local community. Teams work together to collect donations and then celebrate their success by attending a local bowling party. The funds raised are used to support kids between the age of 6 and 18, helping them to graduate from high school, stay out of harmful situations, and simply boost their self esteem.
In Slovakia, we support “Kockáči,” a local initiative of young people offering free online tutoring to fellow students. Notably, in 2023, we funded a project dedicated to developing and passing on valuable digital skills, involving around 850 students and promoted by young people who are all passionate about IT.
We also support the long-running charity Night Run, the proceeds of which go to local sports communities, talented athletes or people in need.
