Heavy Duty Series

BX and BY Heavy Duty asynchronous motors are manufactured to exceed the requirements of the most demanding industrial applications. Bonfiglioli Heavy Duty Asynchronous motors, indeed, comes with a best in class set of features: cast iron frame, C3 corrosion protection, regreasable bearings, and Shock Pulse Measurement predisposition as standard on all sizes, are only few of the characteristics that makes these motors the most suitable also in the harshest enviroments. Moreover, Heavy Duty BX and BY can be further personalized and adapted to our customers needs thanks to a wide range of available options. Additionaly, independetly by the motor size, all the BX Heavy Duty motors can be equipped with DC brake. Concluding, Heavy Duty motors are available with IEC frame and are certified to fulfill the Minimum Efficiency Performances, set by most of the worldwide countries.

HDO Series

When high output torque, robustness reliability and long operating life must be achieved, Bonfiglioli's HDx Series represent the best solution for our custmers needs. Thanks to high quality materials and an optimized design, HD Series can operate in the harshest environemt, as well as in explosive atmospheres, with low maintenance costs and long time service intervals. The output shaft can be chosen both in the parallel (HDP) or right angle(HDO) configuration and to always ensure the minimization of mounting space. 3/H Series

The Bonfiglioli 3/H Series combines the high torque density of planetary gear units with the robustness and high-speed operation of the helical bevel heavy-duty products. This configuration can provide great power transmission in a very compact space, thanks to its angular layout. The 3/H Series can also come with a set of features such as hydraulic couplings or cooling circuits, adapted according to customers' needs..

A Series

The A Series combines high efficiency and reliability, low maintenance costs and a wide torque range. The right angle layout between INPUT and OUTPUT makes the A Series particularly compact. The gear set combination makes this right-angle product the most efficient and durable in Bonfiglioli's light- and medium-duty portfolio. The A Series can be completed with a wide range of electric motors entirely manufactured by Bonfiglioli. Asynchronous motors both IEC and compact (BN-BE-BX/M-ME-MX), servomotors (BMD) and reluctance motors (BSR) can be coupled with the A Series.

700 TW Series

Feeding

Feeders and conveyors transport materials from one stage of the mining process to the next.
Bonfiglioli is an expert on issues related to these applications: the high breaking torque required at startup, the high load shocks caused by material drops and the dusty environments in mines are only a few of the challenges that our products can successfully overcome. We can provide complete solutions for feeders and conveyors with integrated base plates and torque arms which are protected against harsh environments with special seals and paints to simplify machine design for our customers.
Furthermore, our clients can complete their drive selection through a wide range of inverters for tuning the operating speeds of feeders and conveyors and thus reducing energy consumption.

Belt & chain conveyor

Belt and chain conveyors are used in many industries to transport all kinds of material: metal, mining, coal, chemical, food, ports and others.
Bonfiglioli knows how the dimension of the correct solution taking loads and all other specific needs into account.
Our offerings span from harsh and explosive atmospheres to food contact environments, and offer a wide range of gearmotors and inverters.

Dewatering

Focusing on solid/liquid separation, the belt filter presses the product with mechanical pressure to squeeze the water out of the sludge. Flexibility in layout and mounting positions as well as high resistance in harsh, dusty and ambient conditions are key features that our products can deliver.

Flotation

Flotation cells mainly consist of big tanks where an impeller keeps the water/material solution rotating at a high speed. Use of specific chemical reagents and the possible addition of air in the solution enhances separation of the ore from the liquid.
For this application, Bonfiglioli provides helical bevel or parallel shaft gearmotors with more bearings. Output configurations are usually reinforced bearings to withstand by the machine impeller on the shaft. In some models, the machine requires injection of high-pressure air to maximize separation of the material from water. In this case, Bonfiglioli provides a gearbox equipped with a pass-through hole on the output shaft and with a specific interface on top of the gearbox for the pipeline connection.
HDOs are usually driven by belt transmissions, while HDPs are directly connected to the motor with a bell housing. Independent coolers are usually installed on bigger machines. Drywell is a commonly required feature.

Stacking & reclaiming

Multi-functional machines, such as stackers/reclaimers, store and gather material in large mining processes.
Bonfiglioli can provide solutions for all stacker/reclaimer drives. The products we supply are tailored to match the specific requirements of each machine drive: different brakes, forced lubrication, integrated base plates, cooling fans and oil expansion tanks are just a few examples of how we can meet our customers’ needs.
Finally, all the solutions can be further customized with a set of features specifically developed to resist the harsh mining environment.

Overhead cranes

Components in overhead indoor cranes need to be space optimized.
Thanks to our products’ mounting flexibility and compactness, our customers will always find the solution that optimally meets their space requirements. To further increase efficiency, Bonfiglioli can also provide regenerative inverters to save the energy generated when lowering loads.

Loading/unloading material

Ship loaders/unloaders operate in one of the most demanding environments. The atmosphere at the docks can be extremely corrosive, and these machines must be able to work under all weather conditions.
